Howard University’s Battle at the Burr (BATB) event was a major success, attracting a sold-out crowd and celebrities such as Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines and Simone Manual, as well as providing a platform for young swimming enthusiasts to be inspired by role models who look like them.
